Weirdest Creation

Friday, June 08, 2007
I'm gonna post the lyrics of a song I wrote for Sabaw (thanks to Mark for the guitars and bass, to Jaco for being weird). I'll try to post stuff I write about, since I can't draw and I'm not a good photographer, my own 'art' I guess.

So Not Like You is a song I wrote for Ogie, who was feeling down at one point. He's one of my best friends, and this is the weirdest but most popular (?) song I made.

Thank you to those 'sabaw' enough to actually like this song. We appreciate and love you guys. Btw, you guys (even those who don't know the song) can listen to it SOON I HOPE HAHA - the album SHOULD BE OUT SOON I hope. A compilation album featuring Sabaw and other great unsigned bands.

So Not Like You

I’m not used to seeing you down down down
What could have made you feel so?
I’m not used to seeing you frown frown frown
Still wondering what made you think so?

This isn’t like you, so not like you

Keep that chin up and smile
Cause I’m here for you
So don’t stay up late at night
Cause I’ll be there with you
Don’t quit on me now cause
This isn’t like you; so not like you

Don’t you feel so low low low
What can I do to help you?
I know I know I know
How sad it feels to think so

Don’t worry and spill it out
I won’t tell anyone else
I’m your best friend ain’t I?
So don’t be afraid to cry

- EK trip, mall trips
- e-mail marathon (friends who went abroad)
- I love you YM
- made lotsa friends a couple of enemies who I'd love to burn anytime
- got kissed (still virgin lips) and pinched so many times
- new music influence
- emo-punk drum set up
- Travis Barker and Adrian Young sticks survived with the help of electric tape
- quit Hi My Name Is Mark, to get myself ready for college

Looking forward to:
- globelines internet. fuck you dial up *sawang sawa na ako sayo*
- recording and composing with The Kitties
- skateboarding? maybe
- double pedal-ing soon
- more gigs

Listening to : Me, You, And My Medication - Boys Like Girls
Is now : mad and determined

Ok. Uhh yay I passed UP, DLSU, and ADMU. But I still don't know where to go.

Since October, I've met A LOT of people, and I have new friends, and I love them. I also think in a different way now. I'm not that nice anymore -_-.

October:
TunogDos: Sabaw won first place. Finally we won something. Thank you to Berns and Katrina for making the event, and yeah I LOVE URBANDUB. I got to play with a lot of great HS bands too.

November:
Drum Recital: My drum solo sucked. Haha. I also felt OLD cause most of my teacher's students are like grade school peeps, but they're good! Haha. Thank you to Ann, Anjo, Cel, Mark for helping me out, and Awin, Jaco, Kenosis and friends for watching. I also took my CSB exam the day after my drum recital.

December:
Hagkan 2 Concert: I asked a friend for my grad ball, sayang lang she couldn't go cause it's her sister's birthday on my grad ball night, but thanks for saying yes haha.
Give 'Em Rock: Vinnie and The Hello Kitties' first gig! We won 2nd place! Haha. I love my kitties. Oh, and Sabaw passed the AC auditions. So double yey.

January:
Barangay Service: I met really fun people haha.
AC Fair: Screwed up BIG TIME. That's ok, we can't have good gigs all the time. Thanks to Cla and friends for the event. Everything was great. We also stayed in Jio's condo after the battle. I couldn't look at the other bands after we played. I lost my self esteem lol. I need to recover like fast.

Things to watch out for:
Feb. 16-17 Kabihasnan Fair
March 24 UrBand Concert

Synthetic Sensation. Me You and My Medication. We all need something to take away the pain.
